MPA confirms new Chair and 2025 board appointments
Following the Magazine Publishers Association's 2025 Annual General Meeting, the MPA is pleased to confirm the appointment of a new Chair and the board members for the year ahead.
Stuart Dick, General Manager of Are Media New Zealand, has been appointed as the new MPA Chair. With more than 20 years across publishing, marketing and digital innovation, Stuart has led the revitalisation of some of the country's most iconic magazine brands.
Cathy Parker of Adrenalin Publishing returns as Deputy Chair. The 2025 board also includes James Frankham (Kowhai Media), Sarah Perriam-Lampp (CountryWide Media), David Atkins (ICG Media), Kimberley Dixon (Hospitality Business), Nicholas Burrowes (The Pluto Group) and Tony Edwards (Are Direct).
The board brings together independent publishers, large multi-title houses, trade and consumer specialists — reflecting the breadth of New Zealand's magazine industry.
